Sorry for the noob question, but im just trying to start Fantasy and have chosen Bretonnia( weak army yeah yeah)

My question is this, after reading through the rule book and the codex, the lance formation obviously allows 3 characters in the front row. If a lord or hero joins the unit, which 3 should be in the front?

From what i can gather, the musician, hero, and champion should be up front, with the standard bearer in the second rank. is this correct?

Lance says banner hero and champ

The order of importance for command models is Champion, Standard, then Musician. So if models get moved to the second rank, it will be the Musician first, Banner second, and Champion last.
