Hi all, I'd like to introduce some models I've got for sale in my shop on Shapeways.com, GrimDarkBits.

I started making markers and small ships to use in my own games of Battlefleet Gothic, then finally decided to bite the bullet, take some pictures, and set them loose on the free market. So without further adieu, here's what I've got for sale. I'll be updating this periodically with new items too:

Pre-Heresy Strike Cruiser
One Pre-Heresy Strike Cruiser, could be used for either side, as a traitor vessel or as a relic strike cruiser for your loyalist chapter. Depending on material, cost starts at $9.25 (although to really make this model look as good as the pictures, I recommend the "White Detail" material at $15.75).


Torpedo Markers
These come in a set of 17 individual 3D markers, each representing a salvo of between 1 and 7 torpedoes. Markers come unpainted. Depending on material, cost starts at $12.75 per set.






Not-Ork Fighter-Bombers
This set contains 36 individual 3D fighter-bombers. You can base them on plasticard to make the right size markers, as you see here. At three fighter-bombers per marker, you get 12 markers starting at $8.50 per set.




Not-Ork Ram Ships
I felt a strong need to get creative with ways to cut through an enemy ship's hull. Here's what I came up with: three different flavors of Ram Ships, each available as a set of four starting at $7.45 per set.

Very nice ramships, good price as well.

Torps are also nice, not sure I'd fork out the money for em but i'm sure lots will.

Larkin, it looks like $9.50 flat rate for the EU. It's a $6 flat rate to the US, so I try to order multiple items at once.


Stay tuned, I'll be putting up a few more models in the coming week or so... I want to try to get something up there for as many different races as I can, to make it easier for people to order multiple items and save on shipping. Torpedoes + race-appropriate fighters/bombers makes a nice little combo!

Edit: There's a major new model in the range, a Pre-Heresy Strike Cruiser! There are also a few new markers: Voidhawk gunships and Starfury fighters, and an Orbital Defense Battery , but these are so new even I don't have copies of them to paint and display!

These look amazing...love the torpedos. Any idea on a timeline for adding stuff to the store? I'd like to buy, but I don't want to miss anything!

Torps look pretty neat, I agree! I also like the cruiser design; to me, it looks like it would fit right in with any Chaos or IN fleet, not just Space Marines.

The only designs that will be going up soon will probably be "Chaotic", "Space Elf", and "Space Tomb Robot" fighter and bomber markers. Expect those in a week or so.

I do have some concept sketches in the works for in-system and other civilian type craft, just to add some local color to games. The set will probably include one or more barges, short-range freighters, system patrol craft, tankers, a fancy-looking governor's/Inquisitor's/Rogue Trader's yacht, and maybe a docking station of some sort. All that is at least a month away though, so if you've got an order in mind but you're keen on civilian craft, you may as well order the rest now.

I'm looking for ideas for more types of ships to cover, either units in the Battlefleet Gothic range that aren't already done, or more out-there concepts you'd like to see in plastic. So speak up!

Personally, I would like some alternative models to the tau battleships...(yes, I have the fw models) as well, the main ones just don't feel very....tau.

I would love to see more defenses models. I know Forgeworld has some but I think more would be great. Also, the pre-heresy Strike cruiser could possibly use some escorts to go along with it. I will certainly be picking some up if you release them.

I ordered some of the torpedo markers and they're great! Good designs. The company shipping them (not the designer) takes a while since they have to actually create whatever you order before shipping but it's not too long.

I thought of another one.... Vanguard Light Cruiser available in Imperial Armor 10 and BFG:R. That would be awesome to have a model for, especially like your pre-heresy strike cruiser, which rules.
