Hey so I got a large amount of assault marines painted up for my BA army. I have one last squad to do before i think I can wrap the army up. I tried a bunch of different schemes on previous squads which made my army kind of funky looking as a whole. So for the last squad I figured I'd try to stay close to the traditional BA colors. This mini is the first one of that squad.

Let me know what you think! He might be a bit ordinary looking for me. Just looking at this now I think i got to go back and clean the mold lines on the JP they stand out pretty bad.

It looks nice. It does look more orange to me than red but hey that may be the picture. I would put in some more details like icons and script or something to that effect and It won't look so ordinary ( your words not mine ).

That's fair. He's looks orange cuz he is. I use mechrite- mechrite/blood red- blood red- Blood red/blazing orange- blazing orange. I'll throw a few lines of vomit sparingly.

As far as adding icons. I'm worried about free-handing some stuff on there, but the blood angels symbol would probably look good on the shoulder pads.

Well that would explain the orange color haha. I am very bad at freehand that is for sure but hey a little more paint will fix any problems or you could always use the transfer sheet with the blood angels icon.
P.S. I like the look of your yellow I can never get mine to turn out right.
