A few months ago a GW employee told my local gaming club that units could not make a charge reaction to random movement that resulted in a combat eg a one wound HPA 'charging' thunderers and going on a rampage through half the army beause they could not stand and shoot! Can anyone tell me if this is correct or complete fantasy? Pardon the pun

Yah you can not make a charge reaction to random movement.

And they can 'charge' even if they come off the table the same turn.

The joys of random movement
