Your highlights are really nice, though I dont usually highlight the edge of the shoulder pad. I usually do a thin highlight inside it

Looks really good , some transfers and your goor to go.

Looking good. Get a transfer onto those pads and he'll look really good then. Like the white you got on the shoulder pads. A light grey on top of the black then white? Oh and those highlights actually look good. More than anything it helps break up the black.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

the shoulder pads were done with a mix of black and fortress grey as the basecoat, then i did a layer of just fortress grey and then finally i did the white. The white was watered down so i didnt get the brush marks on the shoulder pads its difficult to get the right ratio with white and water took me a while to get the right mix

Unfortunately you can't highlight white, it's just not possible. I actually made the shoulder pads a lighter grey, then added the white highlight, then added a transfer then added battle damage onto it. I wouldn't highlight with grey on white, it wouldn't seem very realistic in that particular part.

But it's your model, and I think it looks great!
