I like the first 1

A Wise Ork once said a profound word: WAAAAAAAGH! Then he got trampled in the incoming stampede!

First off I really dislike red and black together, it's just hard on the eyes. Second I feel the first two have too much going on and are unnecessarily over complicated. It just looks like the colors are competing too much for space and finding random areas to fit in ( IE. The mid-section in the first, and the helmet and belt in the second). When I think of a Space Marine I think of a solid color, with a secondary trimming. Simple and clean.

Overall, I like the third one the best. It's a lot simpler then the other two. Though, imo, it needs to lose the red and use either the black or green as the primary color and the other as a secondary.

I have to say I don't like any of them, sorry to say. I just don't see any of these schemes transferring well to the models.

Honestly, a simple scheme done well is my favorite, and white as a primary color choice on marines looks amazing if you can pull it off.

I'm with Thare1774, none of those schemes work for me. They seem to complicated. Horst is right, simple is better. An idea is to use a color wheel, if you Google, painting miniatures and color theory, you will find all kinds of articles about color theory, which will help you out a bunch. You can also you a favorite superhero's costume colors or something like that to find a good color scheme.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

The first and last are good, The second, not so good. There's a reason that theres only one purple chapter atm (hawk lords)

The first one has potential, but I'm not a fan of mixing white, black, and red. The second one I'm not a fan of. The third one also has potential but the red and green kinda gets to me.
Noticed it's BolterandChainsword. I love that painter tool.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.
