I have an 800 point mini tourney on the weekend and have two lists that i want to run but cannot make my mind up on what one to use. In the goblin corner we have a Spider crazy army including an Arachnok i picked up recently and really want to use. It;s not often i;d face anything at that points level that could really deal with it. It might be a bit of a cheap move but i've faced people using hydras before so i don't see why not. On the other hand i have a much more mob based orc army with lots more boys and some black orcs and boar boyz.

Usually there is a couple of empire armies, couple dark elves, a dwarf player, a couple of high elves and sometimes lizardmen and wood elves. I mean some guy last time entered with a pure skink army.

My Lists are as follows.

Your biggest problem on the first list is that the Arachnarok is more than 25% of the army total for Rare choices.

As said, you can't fit an Arachnarok in anything short of a 1250 game. Either two more units of Spider Riders, one more unit and some Infantry, or another such combination would probably help. I would at least suggest some Common Goblins for the Shaman so that he's not on his own / without a Look Out Sir (30 Common Goblins w/ Shields, Banner & Musician, and two Skulkers is under 150pts).

For the Spider Riders who won't have Snagla with them, drop the boss. Similarly, see if you can put a Musician in both those Spider Rider units (rallying on Leadership 7 / 8 instead of Leadership 6 / 7 is very big).

EDIT: I suggest keeping the Boss in Snagla's unit as they can take a challenge if someone nasty tries to declare it (Ex: "My Exalted Champion / Scar Veteran challenges you!"). Having an infantry brick, meanwhile, makes it risky to expose their flanks / rear to your main line when Snagla comes out.
