So I am finishing up the base colors for my Blood Angels army and would like some feedback on if I should go the lighter scheme (option 1) or the darker (option 2).
Any C&C welcome!

I don't know about anyone else, but to me the two look identical.

It may be the lighting a bit but they are similar the first option simply has blood red on the top when the bottom does not.

I would have to agree, both are really to similar to really tell the difference.

I prefer the first option, the shading in more obvious, but take that with a grain of salt.
You may or may not know this, but monitors can only display a limited range of colors, and there is a big difference between what will look good on a monitor and what will look good in, say, a photograph. On top of that, everyones monitor displays slightly different colors, so you aren't going to get very good feedback since everyone is seeing something slightly different.

Fair point, I will see if I can get a better pic. I have been meaning to make a light box which would fix the problem all together. Thanks for the feedback.
