Helloo fellow Dakkanaughts, my first post! After picking up the 'Eavy Metal Masterclass book and starting a Dwarf army I decided to paint up this fantastic model in non-metallic metals. This is my first attempt at such a technique. It's also my first attempt at taking shots of miniatures (as if it wasn't apparent enough in the images themselves...).

Very well done NMM, especially for a first try. I like it very much.

Yeh, it's hardly noticeable on the sculpt but it is there!

The dwarf looks great - makes me want to paint mine up.. but I've got an army painting focus problem right now.

Awesome job! Did you ever think about giving the runes a glow effect? I think it would make it stand out even more, and would just add a bit more to it.

Great model regardless!

I did think about glowing runes and doing some OSL but then it's quite a small area on which to do this so I decided against it. Thanks though!
