Dark eldar from the fifth edition(???, or wherever they started in) and Kosh is the Warriors of chaos back half of the snap fit figs.

Kosh does use s chaos warrior back half, but there are no GW parts on the scout.

Hint: I only used plastic parts. (Well, including toys and Bones minis, but not on these model designs.)

That Hasslefree Blanche looks like a woman in dire need of some deep foot rubbing. Seriously, she's putting her podiatrist's kids through medical school.

But you've got to love her confidence. Most women would never wear armor that shows off their (pants' ..?) stretch marks like that.

Are you suggesting she would make a fine Shadowkosh once converted?

The latest from Mark was a week ago, in the KS comments:

All of the 15mm items have been done, we are just waiting on the rest of stage 3 to complete. I have T1's arriving tomorrow for the female Stormtroopers and the Odin/Loki. This leaves the last kit, the Command Squad which is in milling now.
I hope to post an update late this week or early next with shots of the two T1 I am receiving. I need to do some assembly work/instructions checks and finalize the box art for these and that will take a few days.

Tinfoil hat time: could WGF be trying to steal these designs from Mark? I mean not releasing other items that are done that could be making money and returning revenue to them is beyond GW stupid. I don't know the details of the deal Mark had with WGF, but what if they have a "you must pay back the loan we floated you by xxxxxxxx date or forfeit the designs to us" clause. Wouldn't be the first time.....just ask Tony Reidy . Total joke, but STILL no word from Mark, he sometimes pops in after things like this pop up so maybe this will bring him out.

When I first saw this post of yours, I thought it was ridiculous. Now though.. after a few days to think about it, I still don't think it's likely, but maybe it's possible? I mean, the 15mm stuff has been "done" for months upon months now, but there's a steadfast refusal to ship anything. But surely WGF-USA have gotten some stock of their own lines from their Chinese counterparts in the last 6 months or so? Meanwhile, Mark must be bleeding sales as people buy things like Tauroxen and Dreadknights (GK re-release) and on and on...

On my phone so can't copy the new KS update, but mark says mid December. The new problem I have is that they are doing the production of some of the kits now and mark hasn't even been able to assemble and test the kits he's gotten

In honor of actual content, I'll just post my next two Shadowkosh sketches to my blog. However, I reserve the right to bring them here if the thread ever gets slow again.

Anyway, even though I have some of those minis coming, I can tell you right now that I will have to buy more tank hunters and heavy armor troops when they hit retail. There are just so many options, and they all look great! I can't decide. Is there a miniature form of polyamory?

Also, the heavy head does look a bit big on the stormtrooper, but I wonder if the knightly heads would work.

The, uh, backs look pretty detailed.

But the legs and shoulders really need some more bling.

Yeah. So clearly no chance of mid-December. Especially since it's not on a fething ship right now.

Even if it were boarding a ship right now, it has to be sorted and sent out once it arrives in the US.

Even if it were boarding a ship right now, it has to be sorted and sent out once it arrives in the US.

Yeah, unless they're flying the stuff in, there literally no way that people can get their stuff by mid-December; it might leave China by mid-December but it comes to a screeching halt once it gets to the US and holiday mail back-log.

Maybe since Australia's closer they could possibly see something?

Those Tank Hunters look good. Are they similar to the Black Widows in armour design? I'm considering a SoB army made from those kits when they hit retail.

The art of the squad advancing looks really strange to me. Either they are all doing the crouch run, or the proportions are way off. Could also be me so accustomed to GW standards

Is the name Black Widows officially dropped, or is Panzershaker just another, more official, name for the units?

I'm thinking PanzerJaeger is the official name of the Special Forces Tank hunter units, with Black Widows being an all female "special" unit.

There wouldn't be just one tank hunter unit.

Mark changed the armor design from the standard stormtrooper to give them their own "SF unit" feel, and adopted a good amount of the armor lines and helmet/faceplate from his metal Kriegsmarine armor.

I think I may have to pick up a unit of them at some point. Those new weapons are friggin sweet!
