Something I thought up in my spare time. Entire army has a 3+ armour save at range (of course Great Weapons only get a 4+ in CC but easy enough to remember), all characters have a 2+ Ward vs. Flaming attacks. The Iron Deamons are mainly for fun and also because they have boss models. Also what is your opponent's reaction going to be when you put three of those bad boys on the table? 21 wounds between 3 targets, each with their own cannons, any warmachines firing at them will need at least 2 turns to kill them (assuming they hit, then wound, then deal sufficient multiple wounds) and with two characters capable of letting them reroll artillery dice you can very reliably get them to fire.

No Destroyer? :(

Oh well the list looks good but really bland

Destroyers can be redirected like crazy because of frenzy. In the games I have seen and myself played against them, they are indeed monsters in combat and will quickly dispatch anything nonmagical with a strength of 4 and below. That said, for 325pts I haven't really seen it make back it's points reliably - yet that is, will keep people posted.

If they bring out an awesome model I will autoinclude in high points games like this but until then...meh.

I'll stick with Iron Daemons and Skullcrackers for now

I have had a huge crush on the destroyer ever since I watched it kill a DarkElf army in a local game pretty much by itself. Movement 9 and good LD makes re-directors think twice IMO. Also the Balrog makes a great Destroyer.

I forget can CDs get lore of shadow? As I would swap death for shadow if they can

I thought the iron demons were unique; so only one of each.
Drop the 3rd, and get more infernal guard, or some hobgoblins.

Cause the chicks dig it...

Unique is a 'Unit Type' (like infantry). This means they function like several categories of units rather than that they are one-per-army. Nowhere in the BRB does it state otherwise (in the Unique 'unit type' [p87] or army restrictions [134-135]).

This is Fantasy, not 40K.

Ah, nice.
I'd still like to see more infernal guard in the list. With units of 20ish, if anything reaches your lines; you'll get rolled up.
But for a themed train army, looks good.
Just watch out for anything bigger than infantry with the irondemons, as you can't Stomp them.

Revised list, allows me to use more cool Iron Daemon models (also means the skullcracker becomes a centrepiece rather than just the engine).

Lords:
Sorceror-Prophet (Lvl 4, Lore of Hashut, Black Hammer of Hashut, The Mask of the Furnace, General) - 400

Heroes:
Daemonsmith (Lvl 2, Lore of Death, Dispel Scroll, Dragonhelm) - 165
Infernal Castellan (BSB, Dragonbane Gem) - 145

Core:
20xChaos Dwarf Infernal Guard (Great Weapons, Standard, Musician) - 320
20xChaos Dwarf Infernal Guard (Standard, Musician) - 260
20xChaos Dwarf Infernal Guard (Standard, Musician) - 260

Special:
Iron Daemon War Engine (Skullcracker, Hellbound) - 340
Iron Daemon War Engine (Hellbound) - 310
Iron Daemon War Engine (Hellbound) - 310

You see 24 wounds of magical warmachines rolling towards you every turn. Reaction?

Always keep a daemonsmith/prophet in range for great justice and rerolls in case you roll double misfire for shooting. Once in range, bring the pain with terror causing magical cannons to take care of those ethereal theats (such as certain metal/fire type monster from a certain warhammer forge book )
