I cannot make up my mind how I wanted to deck out my Bretonnian Lord, so in the best tradition of compromise, I decided to take both!

Lord - General
-Virtue of Heroism - Heroic Killing Blow.
-Mantle of Damsel Elena - Immune to poison and Killing blow.
-Heartwood Lance - Re-roll failed rolls to wound.
-Charmed Shield - First hit discounted on 2+.

Lord - Not the General
-Virtue of Confidence - Always challenge. In challenges, re-roll failed rolls to hit and wound.
-Gauntlet of the Duel - Challenges issued by the bearer cannot be refused.
-Ogre Blade - +2 Strength.
-Dawnstone - Re-roll failed armor saves.

Paladin - BSB
-Gromril Great Helm - Re-roll failed armor saves.
-Sword of Might +1 Strength.

Damsel - Lvl 2 Beasts
-Dispel Scroll

Looks pretty awesome, but Im a noob to Fantasy at the moment.

Just been having a look at some Bretonian list and tactic ideas to see how theyre normally played as Im building an army at the moment.

I was interested in the mounted yeomen and the questing knights but I hate the models so I was thinking of custom making them from plastic kits. How do you find the yeomen work? I thought you would probably need to take a lot of them? Cant give you any constructive critisism other than that, and is it not better to take bigger units of knights? But then again, I dont really know so its more like Im asking you questions!

why not replace -Mantle of Damsel Elena with something that gives you more attacks for HKB, they FAQ'd the non-magical weapons requirement out.
Also consolidate 2 of the KOTR units inot 1 big unit, so you don't have to worry about double charging as much, and have more room to manuever.

I find yeoman to be quite valuable. I take them small because it is meant to be completely disposable. I use them to pop fanatics out of NG units, die while squishing manglers, charge war machines, and misdirect opponents charges. They rarely survive a battle, but they are often so much more valuable than the points they cost.

I already took the Heartwood Lance magical weapon. It allows me to reroll failed wound rolls. I like this item because after hitting, if I fail to wound it's another attempt to get the KB. Same essential purpose as extra attacks, but on the wound roll instead of the number of attacks. Plus, on the charge it is +2 STR, versus a magical sword leaving me at STR 4.

Ah right, makes a lot of sense now.

Similar to many 40k tactics that Im aware of.
