I am new to War Hammer I am still reading through the rule book and still painting up my army but had a couple questions as to if you can mix a army of say like orcs & goblins and daemons or vampire counts with something?

Only way to legally do it is using magic pacts from the storm of magic book. Otherwise itd have to be house ruled or something .

The enemy of my enemy is a bastard so lets kill him too.

In Firenze kicking Templar arse.

Yeah. Draigo is right. BUT, you could play two different armies in a joint battle and say they are 2 different allied forces. Of course, they would each have to be half the points of the battle.

A Wise Ork once said a profound word: WAAAAAAAGH! Then he got trampled in the incoming stampede!
Current Army: Orks (2000+)

Just take your time and consider your pick carefully. Watch some games, look at models and then pick. I'm sure by the time you look at all the possible choices you'll find "the one".

Take a bunch of chess pieces, or checkers or pennies or whatever and say they are [army you are testing out unit]. Repeat. Just have sheets nearby so your opponent knows. That way you can tell how you like the way they PLAY.

WHFB is really expensive and it's a sad panda who starts collecting an army he ultimately doesn't enjoy playing.
