Hi all, found this Wraithlord in pieces in a box of odds and ends bits. Figured I'd repaint and try out some new skills.

Do you know what edition this guy is from?

Late 2nd, early 3rd I think.

Ther earlier (RT through to 2nd) version had much slimmer arms and hands.

this was one of the last versions printed in 2nd edition. I lost the back piece but am currently rebuilding based on a 4th ed model.

Choice of colours is classic, I adore the classic Wraithlord (though I never field mine, I prefer the newer ones for a coherent look).

Only, you should probably thin your paints more

As someone said, thin your paints a bit more, especially your white. White will probably take 4-5 coats to put on smoothly.

It's also looking a bit...flat? Maybe some blending from a light grey to white would help break it up a bit?

I think the white needs a little bit more work, but the paintjob is a lot better than I initially thought. Your camera's letting you down a tad :(
