hi,
after reading some fluff i became intrested in the thunder warriors and Arik Taranis. what i was wondering is, was he just a famous thunder warrior or was he there primarch? i couldent find anything on http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Arik_Taranis specifying either way, just that he was one of the first to be made. if he's not then did the thunder warriors even have a primarch? this is my favouite chapter as there the only chapter to succesfully capture terra so i kinda need to know if they had a primarch and who he primarch was.
thanks

Thunder warriors predate the Primarch Project.

They aren't even Space Marines.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.

The Thunder Warriors where before the Primarch Project, they where the prototype space marines and are technically not a chapter.

I also wanted to know more about this fella, from what I gather (googling the net) he was part of the thunder warriors a group of super soldiers created by the emperor to unite terra.

they were successful and took over Terra quickly but that was the point, the emperor created them to be big brutish powerful fighters and that's all, no smarts just brawns.

So accepting his fate Arik escaped and has been conducting his own experiments...

that's as far as my data goes anyone want to enlighten me more please do tell.

I like too think GW is keeping Arik as an excuse to create another human faction, led by him and his new Thunder Warriors.......

Or at least a forge world army....

my fav version of the armor (Even before I knew about thunder warriors)
