So I did up a BA Death Company Assault Marine, running dual flamers. I got the bright idea while working on my splashdown project to use those techniques that I used to get the splash wave, in order to create a blast of flame.

Turned out great.

Then I decided I just wasn't satisfied with a single piece. So..... diorama time....

Here is my W.I.P for a sewer piece with my DC (wearing a GK teleporter pack. What better way to get to the death dealing faster?? Yeah, I know, not canon but who fething cares?) dealing with two Eldar Howling Banshees.

As always C&C are welcome and requested.

I am a Blackberry/iPhone/Android Smartphone Techsupport Rep for Rogers Communications. Call centre jobs are a great way to get some painting time since I don't have time to do it at home.

*** Update***

Working on the Banshees now, found a great tutorial on nmm while searching google...

http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?showtopic=74782

using the blending techniques to try out a different take on the Banshees colour scheme. Pics to follow when I have my camera at work.

I found the thread on the Paining Challenge and was going to submit this but then found out that since I posted, it's disqualified from entry. Oh well.... such is life.

GL to all who enter that comp. There are some amazing artists here who I can only hope to aspire to be as good as.
