Well I basically just want to win. I have fun playing when i lose, but I have more fun winning. I like my lists to be unstoppable murder machines (although I try to avoid cheese like purifier spam). Also I'd rather learn how to play with a really good list.
My friend has an undefeated skaven army at every size that's been played and is locally the best fantasy player. He's helped me understand the game a bit.
Ok an your sugestions:
As of now I have 11 points I can spend on herores. My thoughts on the vamp was that 6 S5 WS9 hits that always go first will murder the crap out of almost anyone he faces. I did, however, have that feeling about dread knight. I assumed he could kill almost everything he'd come accross though. How would you (or anyone else) build a combat vampire?
Again I could be totally wrong with this (sometimes I hate being new) but wolves seem pretty crappy to me. 8 points basically for a suicide unit that doesn't seem to have that much killing power. and apears to have the uncanny ability to get walked through by almost anything. Also add in the fact that they'll never be able to march, or at the very least not after turn one. I figured the zombies could hold up the flanks if need be and crypt horrors and/or varghulf could hunt warmachines. Will any of that work?
I also contemplated hexwraiths for warmachine hunting but couldn't find room for them. The models are almost worth finding room though
If I use wolves, what's a good size for them, 10?
P.S. Thank you so much for your input.
