Does anyone have a backup of the old "Modelling: Bases" and "How to paint horses" guides on games-workshop.com? I used to (stupidly) have them bookmarked but today I noticed they were removed a couple of months ago for no discernible reason

Yeah I know I should have known better. I saved most of them but I forgot those 2. The bases one had an amazing gallery of examples and explanations on how to do them, and the horses one was also very in-depth.

The painting articles have presumably been removed pending the release of GW's new paint range. No doubt a lot fo them will be replicated with the new paints sooner or later.

In the meantime, the right to distribute (or not) those articles belongs to GW. Unless those articles have a disclaimer on them allowing free distribution of them, we can't support said distribution.
