Firstly i apologize about the earlier low quality shots that i had on my last thread, here are some better high res shots.

This here is my WIP imperial fist dreadnaught, first dreadnaught ever so happy i have it for my army.
I've been collecting since September 2011 so I'm still fairly noobish in my painting, but my local games workshop and a mate are helping heaps. (Thanks drailage)

I'm going to have to do a few posts for all my pictures, seems i reach beyond the limit quite easily in the photo's you will see my chaos HQ cypher, 1 imperial fist terminator, 1 imperial fist terminator sergeant, and my own take on a imperial fist chapter master (i did unfortunately stuff up his build and gave him a power fist and storm shield which by the rules you cannot do, i only noticed this after he was completely put together and i have no intention of taking him apart...but it's ok as i fully plan to make another version of him in normal power amour in the future.

Please rate and comment, try and keep criticism respectful and friendly, i enjoy correcting my work but i do not appreciate foul language or elitism. (also lets focus less on the surroundings this time last time we all enjoyed the dust and old phone a little too much haha)

good job on the yellows. Need to touch up a few spot I can see black. I like the converted Termie. Maybe a light wash on chypers robe.

Hmm, zombie-flesh toned Cypher. Not a bad choice at all. Do you actually play him?

I like the wings etc, adds an appropriate level of grandeur to the model.

The yellow is nice and warm as well, nice work.


I'm going to move this to P & M however as showcase is really for finished work, in all it's glory. Please do post some shots there as/when they're all done though.

- Black spots on the termie? (you wouldnt mind pointing them out would you please if so)
- yeah i messed up cypher's robes big time, back then i didnt know a good cloth painting technique, i tried washing it once and it came out odd so im just going to leave it and maybe do another in the future.
- thanks for the comment on the converted termie aka my chapter master, he was my 2nd converted model after valeria whom i wont post due to her abnromally masculan head lol

I sure do! however due to the lack of rules for him i have to use a lord's stats, so he isnt as useful as i wouldve liked when i first purchased him.
I got the flesh tone from a mate after he did a similar thing to his asteroth the grim, if only i could get him too show you... and his converted mephiston, its a very cool model and it puts all the ones here to shame imho, though i can't be the only judge of that.

Thanks i do beleive the wings were a fantastic touch when i was finished up the model, it needed something of my own touch without making it rediculous.
thanks heaps for the comment on the yellow! when someone spends hours trying to perfect it and people notice it really makes you get a good feeling, i've only been doing it for a week and a half now on and off so i think it can only get better as i continue to improve on it.

Also sorry about the wrong area, i thought maybe due to a few finished models it might be ok, for next time i'll know and make moderating a bit easier and not post un-finished models here.

I'll have some more pictures in a weeks time, including astorath the grim and some assault marines for my imperial fists.
I would love some more feedback and some answers about the black spots i missed from that 1 reply if your still watching/reading
