Looks good, much better than I think I could achieve!

One thing I'd offer is that it could perhaps use a very bright extreme highlight on the hard edges, to make it more shiny and less like well shaded yellow?

Hi there thanks for your kind comments! And ive done exactly what you said azreal and added some brighter edge highlights, althought mind the cruddy blending it was slightly rushed

I think that will look very effective with the rest of the miniature done. Its difficult to judge with so much yet to be painted, but if it was my work I'd be pretty satisfied with that so far!
