Hey guys
I am playing in boubels turnament whit my friend thats coming up we both play BA.
This is his list
Astorath the grim - 220
Assault squad (2x meltagun, PF) 235
Assault squad ( flamer, PW) 210
Assault squad (2x meltagun, PW) 225

Pred. ( HB, AC) 100

And this is mine, it is a work in progres i stil have 305 points to spend
Libi (unleash rage, blood lance, JP) 125

Drednoughts will drop pod wheal the rest of the army moves forward.
Scouts hold objectives in the rear.
Sang.guard will just run a round and kill stuf.
Astorah is ther because we want the dreds. to succumbed to the red thist.

When playing double BA I have found it works to have one person run classic razorspam and the other run DoA.
His list is nice, it looks like it has a purpose (preds support, the rest runs and assaults) Your list looks to be a little all over the place. I personaly don't like scouts, so unless they are for babysitting an objective they are usless. With JP's and a run you can get/contest most objectives on the last turn. The Sang guard and the dakka dread I would drop. I would either run more ASM squads or more mech.

Also you are missing any Sang. Priests, which are a *must* for any troop heavy BA list

Normal rules in relation to doubles? Every tournament does something different.
So does each side get a full FoC? Does each side have to bring 2 troops and 1 HQ?

In that case going for double BA you can not really abuse the FoC enough for my liking.
I dislike: the grim though the whole red thirst thing is very useful; the pred set up; only having 3 drop pods; and the sang, guard.
I feel you need to go for two armies they work in unison like taking 12 preds.
This is because pairings can become very quickly.
Then again I not sure about your enemies:
Ork and sisters still lack antitank, for a pairing at least
Double marines still have the problem of taking silly scoring units, I guess 2Telions with 2 tactical squads to score is still possible, then you can spam dreads for example.
Space wolves and necrons sounds a great combo, however, troops that refuse to die with melta that they lack.

his list will dominate yours. All his units work together where as yours all have their own niche. He will simply take on your dreads as a single body, then your jump packers then clean up your scouts.
You need to get your list to fight together.

I feel like your lists lack synergy. Why is he taking Astorath? He is so overcosted for what he does. I'd only ever take him if I wanted to have multiple DC squads at once.
I feel like you both should go mass Assault Marines or mass Razor/ AV13 spam with Predators or VIndicators. It'd be hard to take down when both of you have so many AV13 tanks on the board. If you do a mix and match of Jump Infantry and mechanized it will be bad. All of your opponents Anti Tank will go towards your friends stuff. It won't be enough armor in my opinion.
As to your own list, I'd drop a squad of scouts maybe and add some Devastators or more Assault Marines.

It could work. Your biggest weakness with that list is the lack of other AV besides the Predators. Also I'd drop the upgrades on the priests except for the JP. You want those as cheap as possible.

Agreed, you will struggle against a heavy mech army (like guard)
