So after my last game i thought id try out some more venoms as the 3 i had did very well for me

Duke joins the splintercannon trueborn squad

Thats a pretty standard DE Comp list.

Some might prefer more blasters instead of SC's but overall there isnt much too change....

Unfortunately, that's not legal. 3 wracks cannot take a liquifier gun.

I'm assuming those trueborn will not be riding their raiders? Dark lances can't be fired on the move, even from inside a vehicle. Trueborn normally go in Venoms, not Raiders, but if you're itching for more AT alpha-strike, then I can't really fault you.

The RJBs are certainly...unique? I'm not sure I'd call them competitive, though -- 81 points is a very expensive blaster, especially when you can spend 30 points to exchange one of those wrack squads for Kabalites with a blaster -- which is in fact what I suggest you do.

I'm not really sure what else to say about this, except that I really wish Dakka had a better forum tag for preserving indentation.

Well, you could buy 3 or 4 trueborn with blasters instead of 3 with 2 lances. I get the impression that's not what you were hoping for, though.

What's wrong with vanilla warriors? 30 points for a blaster isn't bad, really.

I don't disagree with your concepts. If you look close youll see that the first list used warriors.
The thing about the warriors is the lances allow me to park them back and hit from a distance. If I put them In their vehicle that vehicle becomes a target and dies. Now they cant kill 2 birds with one stone.
