Hi all.

Having a 2000 pts SW list well equipped for shooting and doing really often apocalypse games in my FLS I was planning on build up a second list, eventually from another codex, to be used with.

Something more developed on melee and taking a look at the various kits available in my bits collection I thought at something like this:

HQ - Shadow Captain SHRIKE. 195
HQ - LIBRARIAN - Terminator Armor with Storm Shield - Gate of Infinity/The Avenger. 140

EL - 10x Assault Terminators - 6x TH/SS - 4x LC/LC. 400 [with SHRIKE]
EL - 10x Assault Terminators - 10x TH/SS. 400 [with LIBRARIAN]

TR - 5x Scouts - Teleport Homer - Combi-melta/PF - 4x Shotguns - 5x Camo Cloaks. 140 [*]
TR - 5x Scouts - 5x Rifles - 5x Camo Cloaks. 90
TR - 5x Scouts - 5x Rifles - 5x Camo Cloaks. 90

FA - Land Speeder Storm - Multi-melta. 65 [*]

The tactic is quitely simple, still talking about the 5th ed. missions, in 2/3 deployments I will infiltrate Shrike with the mixed Terminators, I will put in cover the 3 thunderfires with the 2 Typhoons on bolstered buildings, I will put the Land Speeder Storm (with teleport homer Scouts) and the Librarian + Hammernators out of line of sight. The 2 snipers Scout units will eventually infiltrate, wait in reserves or outflank depending on objects positioning.

The first turn will obviously see Shrike with mixed Terminators run and eventually assault, the Land Speeder Storm Flat out and the Librarian + Hammernators using the Gate of Infinity to advance quickly (profiting from the Teleport Homer). The other units will shoots if possible.

Dawn of War deployments will obviously cause some problems, I will eventually field the Librarian in solo with 2 units of scouts on foot. All if possible out of Line of Sight and then, starting from the second turn I will let everithing comin'in. The Hammernators unit will join the Librarian. The Land Speeder Storm will flat out in, the Thunderfires + Typhoons will take positions (speeders flatting out) and eventually I will consider to outflank Shrike with the mixed Terminators.

Do you think this as a viable list? Not only on his own but eventually also in party with a more anti-av SW gunline?
