Hey folks,

So I bought a Dreadknight for no apparent reason and seeing that I am currently building a BA army I will create a BloodKnight.

So I will be adding a Jumppack onto this guy using an airplane model turbines.

Now I would like some feedback on what else I should add to him? something to make him more Blood Angels like. Any comments are appreciated.

What if you painted him silver and then poured blood on him? To get like this kind of effect (1:00 if you don't want listen the cool music):

Any time I see that scene (covered in blood) I always think someone is going to slip and fall and/or contract HIV/AIDS.

Haha nope... I didn't even realize there was a Bloodknight and I thought I was being clever with Dreadknight and Blood Angels.

Haha once you see it you can't unsee it... Probably will be reposing one of the arms to be slicking a nid in half or something nasty like that.

Wings could be a nice addition, as cheesy as that sounds.
They wouldn't have to be incredibly huge, just decorative wings, maybe pegasus or griffon wings.
A nice blood drop signet somewhere, perhaps a large pendant-like thing on the front, could mark it distinctly as BA.

I've also seen cool blood-splatter type greenstuff sculpts that you could use for something like the sword, like a trail of blood as the blade is swung.

You just gave a ton of new Ideas!!! I think I will at least go with the wings. I don't know why I didn't think about that. Thanks I will have to give some of this stuff a try.

A few good places to look for wings if you don't want the over9000 pound metal ones from GW would be kid's stores, craft shops, or even walmart/similar.
There's a lot of Pegasi, angels, birds and the like.
Or just look for some crappy plastic birds with correctly proportioned wings. I'd recommend going with ones that look either like the Winged-Blood sigils on the Sanguinor's codpiece, or just wings like the Sanguinor himself. I think the flat-topped wings like the ones his balls have would look best on a Bloodknight, and could be fairly large without overwhelming the model.

Hell, you could just make your Bloodknight look like a giant Sanguinor.

I think I might go with something like these. They are bout 4 inches which I think would work nicely.

Metal wings are hard to deal with sometimes, unless you put plenty of weight on the base to keep them from being too top heavy.
Then of course your model weighs about as much as chair lol.
But they should stay easily secured if you put enough connecting material.
