Somewhere just South of nowhere

Very similar to dark angels. As a sometimes DA player, I approve! I would try some washes or maybe a second, lighter coat over the green to make it stand out more. Also, if they are not Ultramarines, removing their symbol on the left shoulder can really add to the model.

If going for urban I would dial down the colours of the Captain. No point being Urban Camo, only to have a neon pastel/ psycadelic thing going on.

You can have startling effects with subtle colour schemes.

What I would say is that have 2 major things going for you.

1. A good colour scheme on your Tactical troops.
2. A very good level of brush control, this is a very good neat base coat.

If you want to improve the look then highlighting and Washes need to be applied. I would recommend dry brushing a light shade of of the Green/ Grey. Then use a Black, Devlin mud or Ogryn Flesh wash to bring it all together.

I think these will look amazing, if you highlight and wash these. The Wash will dull down the colours on the captains chest too.

EDIT - I always try to do keep all the same things on the model the same colours. So all the skulls in bone or white or whatever you've mixed them up a bit which is okay if you like it that way. However having little details like that helps tie the whole model together.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Not bad for a first attempt.

I'm not really a fan of the yellow though, it provides to much contrast in my opinion.

My advice would be to change the yellow to something else, then hit the whole thing with a coat of Badab Black wash.
