This is very much an all eggs in one basket type list, relying on the Terminators, Abaddon and Oblits to do the damage. Will probably attach both HQs to the bigger squad (might even split the smaller squad?) then its down to luck of reserve rolls, careful positioning and hopefully not dieing too quickly...Obviously not a competitive list, but someone asking for advice in the tactics posted a similar style list for 2000 points, and it inspired me, Chaos Terminators may not be the best, but I think 13 of them, with 2 HQs and 6 Oblits could be a bit of a problem for some opponents...

I think a chaos deep strike list would be better served with 2x lash princes with wings, 3 units of 3 terminators, some melta raptors, and more oblits if possible.

Your list would be better at assault, but a lot more vulnerable to bad scatter rolls or armies full of ap2 weapons. You don't have enough dakka to take out say a mech guard army full of vendettas, chimeras, and melta vets.

Not sure about this but if you really want to do this - and I think its awesome - then you might want to take one or two suicide bike squads with an icon so that you can deepstrike the terminators without worrying about the bad rolls etc.

Yeah your probably right there, but this was really about the Terminators as much as/more than deep striking Chaos, if I wanted to try and be 'competitive' with DS chaos, then I would go 2 Lash Princes, 3x3 Combi-meltas/Plasma termies, a raptor squad or two and 6 Oblits (9 takes too many points, and I never have good luck with them, and thats without deep striking them)

Didn't think of Bikes, not sure why, they are a pretty good delivery system. Problem would be finding the points for them, 3 bikes and an icon is 109, and might as well take 2 Meltas as well just incase, so thats 260 points for two squads, so would have to drop things that I really need in the list, its already pretty hit and miss, and to be honest, the bikes could easily die before anything comes down, as they will have to be turbo boosting turn one, which means they will get shot at for a round, and only 6 bikes, isn't going to be too hard for the enemy to take down if they have half decent shooting...
