Hello new to Warhammer 40k, have about two dozen games under my belt and figured it was time to explore the painting aspect of the game. Here's what I've got. The first phota is my first(left) and second(right) attempts at painting. I was getting a feel for the paints and what they could accomplish. The Vet squad is my second run. My third and most recent attempt is the Sentinel, which I did some minor converting and playing with green stuff on the base. I also magnetized the plasma cannon.

I like what you've done with the Sentinel, the colors make it feel threatening. I also enjoy the Nid' head on the base too

Thank you very much, it did come out rather menacing.

I serve in the Army and I couldn't decide where to go after the black. After some thought *wham!* it hit me. We use red lights during night ops. The rest came together from there.

Black and deep red looks threatening, I agree. Hazard stripes are a good touch too !

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently working on my special weapons squad. I like to 'grav chute insert' them from an outflanking Valkyrie. They have a habit for messily splattering all over the battlefield so I bought them some new kit from forge world and they have been much more effective. When they are finished I'll get them posted up.

+1 for anything IG xD

I like the detail to the weapons and the stripes on the chainsword and sentinel.

Keep up the good work.

Not bad at all Chaosangel! Hit them with a couple of coats of matte varnish to tone down the shine and it wll make the color scheme stand out even more.
