So this is a painted chicken noodle soup can, figured I could make some sort of cool factory canister of some sort, I ended up giving it a base.

This is my second terrain attempt and I figured it was decent enough to show.

Outside the DarkTower, amongst the roses.

Not bad for a diy terrain.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Nice. They used to showcase stuff like this back in second edition. Always nice to see people trying.

Looks awesome. This is great terrain. It's obvious what it's supposed to be, and you've made it usable in at least three ways. (It's flat so someone can get on top of it, it can be used to block LOS, and the base with the ooky gooky you added can be used as difficult/dangerous terrain.)

Simple, effective terrain. Proof that a little love is all it takes to make a playable table, as nice as complex builds and extreme detailing can be (but aren't always).

Would you mind putting up some instructions? I am always looking for some quick and easy DIY terrain.

Ya, I play Crons, what about it?
Also, they are just shiny space zombies with guns.

Sure thing I didn't take any picture of the process but I used this link for the general idea.

The base was cardboard with dollar store clay outlining it, then added glue and some sand stuff from a dollar store.

The effects of the can were made with a base of black and then gray, I went over the middle part with silver to bring out the edges with a dry brush, and then mixed brown and red for the rust on the outer part (also a dry brush).

The weathered leaks were painted with black, I just added allot of water to the brush and painted it on, when it dries it looks like a water mark. (the brush should be really wet)

Oil was regular white glue then a glossy black, needed a couple layers of both.

As far as the top nubby pieces go I used spru bits.

I will be posting a how to for the next one I do, this is going to be part of a set.
