Not bad. The bases are a little over the top for my taste. You should really go back and clean up all those mold lines, however. They really take away from otherwise half decent models.

I agree on the bases, adding half the model heigh with a strange feel odd.

Apart from that, clean and simple pain scheme.

How'd you do the dread's hull? Seems like multiple layers of silver / blue wash ?

Yeah last time i tryd taking mould lines out i took half of the model with me lol so im abit weary of doing that!, as for the bases, ilove the over the topness haha but i can see why others wouldnt like it so much! cheers for the comment though, and once ive got over my fear of taking away mould lines i will start doing it more often

I love the idea of using the blue wires around the force weapons, never seen that before

Models look good, I like the bases. Little much but I've been guilty of the same thing. What intrigues me most is the wire around the weapons...might try to incorporate that into my own models some how...Want to make it more subtle somehow.

Yeah the wire is just copper wire used for making jewlery and its just wrapped round te weapon, coated black then painted ice blue!! Obviously you would just paint it whatever colour your force weapons are haha!! Glad you guys like the idea!! And yeah my bases are a bit ott but i love making them big and different so i prefer them to some of my other bases ive done!! =] =]

I find it odd that you'd do the glow around the eyes but avoid high lighting.

Personally I find that I can get away with very basic highlighting on metal and it just makes it stand out a lot more. I remember when I returned to the hobby a few years ago that I hated doing highlighting because I did such a poor job at it but like they say it takes practice.

Overall I quite like what you've done and I like the cloth quite a bit too.

im dunno, i just felt like i was comfortable doing the eyes haha, (i have mucked em up but still =P),

I have got other models that i am practising Highlighting with as well!, so i am doing it on other models , and will eventually add highlighting to these models also! =]
