I did not notice a thread about this exciting tournament so I thought I'd take it upon myself to advertise this. This was a great tournament last year and it's been moved up date-wise this year. Here is a copied bit from our local forums.

What is it?
The Maul in the Mall is Dicehead Games & Comics Annual Mega-Rogue Trader Event! The Maul in the Mall is an 80 PERSON MEGA 40k and Fantasy Rogue Trader Tournaments.

40k - 1850 POints
Fantasy Battle - 2200 Points
Including BIG FUN, BIG TROPHIES and BIG PRIZES!!!

SATURDAY, MARCH 24th - 9:00 A.M.

How?
In conjunction with Games Workshop and Bradley Square Mall, Dicehead Games will be bringing you one of the Largest RTT Events in the Southeast! This event will be limited to the First 70 (40k), 50 (WHFB) people who call or email to confirm their reservation for the tournament. Tables will be 4'x6' and will be themed for Warhammer 40k & Warhammer Fantasy. We have recently aquired some new exceptional terrain and will be putting forth a lot of effort to build more and provide nice, quality tables and terrain for this huge event.

Please include the following information in your email: Complete Name, Complete Address including Zip Code, Phone Number, and if possible what army you plan on bringing.

Limited to 80 persons on a First-Come-First-Serve basis. If you make a reservation and then cannot make it to the tournament, please inform us ASAP so we can adjust to your absence.

We will continue to take names/registrations after all available spaces are filled. If more spaces become available you will be contacted ASAP.

Cost & Prizes
Entry cost will be $30.00 per person

There will be OVER $1000 in PRIZES Awarded!

1st Place = $500 in Product!

($500 prize is currently for 40k only, WHFB will be based on turnout)

Trophies will be awarded for Overall Champion, Best Painted, Best Sportsman, Best Theme, and Best Shopper (Most Game Points)
The Tournament Champion will also be awarded $500 in Their Choice of Product! In addition, Random Prizes will be given between rounds.

This is a great tournament and is put on by a great group of people. Come throw some dice and enjoy lots of prize support. I did a battle report last time if you are interested in seeing how the scenarios play out; just check my profile (I won't overtly pimp my own stuff in this thread).

The winner last year was Gardeth with his Dark Eldar. Come out and get an easy win against him this year just to make him sad.

I'll be there! Unfortunately not probably won't be playing Dark Eldar, so its time to power paint some BA!

Gah! Had I known about this a month ago, I would have gone! Alas, I have to travel to Fort Drum the proceeding weekend so no way I can swing Chattanooga :(

I'll definitely be there. It sounds like a lot of fun.
