Not being able to walk around that much due to a skateboarding injury, I have had a bunch of time to paint and re-start an old army of mine, the Night Lords.













Reading though the Chaos codex, I thought I should use the mark of Nurgle because I fight lots of IG and Orks. But, I don't like the icon on some pole because it might snap off in transport and it looks weird. Then I came up with the idea of my Night Lords being exposed to some kind of virus that made them tougher and to show this, I used some GS to make boles and other nasty items. My plan is to have a few Marines in each squad to have some. Maybe 5 or 6.



I still have to do a bunch of high lights on them and touching up the lighting bolts to make them thinner.

Just showing off my stand ins for my plague marines. Just some basic space marines that to much thick paint to fully strip them so tossed some GS onto them. Fluff wise, they were from this one chapter (hint: almost everyone hates them ), got to close to a plague/virus bomb that went off. The virus made them tougher but for some odd reason, they gave up on the Emperor and now, they are working with this Night Lord force. No one knows why.







Should I put more GS on them or keep them as is?
