it was intended to be a good game, but it fell flat due to interest in other games. I for one enjoyed it, and collect the horrorclix figures.

Have only got about seven Brotherhood at the moment, plan on getting more, the boys are old enough to play it, and I'd like to get some X-men back and track down the missing Brotherhood members. I think when I go back I'll be tracking down more DC related figs though, my interest in DCNU has regained my interest in comics, and I'd like to have some of them on the tabletop. Aurelia painted the Brotherhood ones we have, and I'd probably ask her to do the same for any new ones. Look so much better painted up. Even converted the Rogue, by taking her off her flying base and painting her in her Brotherhood colours. As to teams, I had a few games back when I first had it, but its been ages, and I have no real opinion on that at the moment. perhaps after I get some figs again and start playing with the boys.

These are the Brotherhood ones I mentioned, the only ones we have at the moment. Painted by Aura with a quick job about six or seven years ago, so if I do collect up some X-men to paint, going on her current quick standard these fellas will need a touch up or the X-men will totally outshine them.

Heh, less of the young, I'll be forty in two years. As to the rings, red - was rare, blue - experienced and yellow - rookie. The Blue bits on Sabertooth was a nemesis thing (might have had another name) where an opposing fig with a matching base colour had bonuses to strike, extra damage or something, not sure without a rulebook. Obviously in that set Wolverine also had a blue base, Xavier a dark green. These are first generation Heroclix, so if points values or styles of bases have changed in the period since I last played, I maybe forced to start over.

Ah cool, just need to track down some X-men then, and the Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch Brotherhood marked rookies.

Probably mixed, but if I did focus it'd be on the blue team. I can't see me not having Storm and Colossus in there though.
Certainly got a lot to think about. On a side note, saw an auction on ebay earlier, what are the cards they are talking about. There where action cards from the 2nd or 3rd expansion, but these sound like character cards.

Newer figures now come with character cards that point out their powers(including some unique White square powers and the occasional altered standard power), team, keywords, etc. They look like this: IIRC, these started in the set Avengers.

Ah nice.
Also, seems its demise was greatly exaggerated, didn't note it had been saved by another company and is releasing more sets. Not just a case of tracking down older figs off ebay.
Dang, I can feel the room shifting as I slide towards the game again.

Hey guys played loads 300points of heroclix today.
I Used:
Viper 91points: http://images.trollandtoad.com/products/pictures/315461.jpg
Nomad 63 Points: http://images.trollandtoad.com/products/pictures/315451.jpg
Deadshot 89 Points: http://images.trollandtoad.com/products/pictures/303978.jpg
and did use 50point spiderman
Other than spiderman been rubbish.
The top 3 did really AWESOME
So I have 53 Points because I don't want to use spiderman. Maybe somebody that offers hindering terrain for deadshot as he is really good well in terrain.
So if people could try find somebody to use be fantastic.
Peace
