Under the couch

Heh... Awesome to see him looking all shiny. I think you hit the perfect mix of black and gold in the colour scheme... Looks all flash without being too over-the-top with the gold, and not too much black to blend in with the rest of the army.

The rust on the exhausts came up nice.

He could do with a bit of a highlight on the eyes and the targeter on his chest, just to make him pop a little more. For the really basic version, mix some about half and half white and blue, and then using the finest brush you can get your hands on, run a thin line horizontally across the center of the eyes, and on the bottom of the targetter lense. Then grab some white and add a tiny dot of white at the top of the lense, just to the right of center.


Love the way the base came up, also ... That's going to look brilliant on the rest of the guys.

Great conversion! And a nice paint job too. The gold and black work well together. I agree with a little metallic drybrushing for the black to bring out some of the little machine bits.
