Hey all,

Been a long time (3/4 months) since I have finished anything. Something must have been in the air the past few days and I have cranked out 10 Terminators.

Let me know what you guys think.

I like everything but the last ones face. It does not seem like a natural blood splatter, more like someone stepped on a ketchup packet infront of him

I am liking those termies! Only thing I see that doesnt quite look right is the terminator with the lightning claw up in the air, that pose just doesnt look natural.

How did you do the blood dripping from the stormshield, I would love to replicate that effect!

I hesitate to critique since I think they look better than anything I could paint...

But the shading on your whites and metallic bits look SO NICE that it makes me wonder... why the red looks so flat?

Hahaha yeah its true he may have just been eating and made a mess. Do you think it is just due to the pooling and should I just try stippling more?

I would have to agree about the pose. With the way the arms are I only have so many options so I was trying to make them look different enough but I may just have to readjust. The blood dripping is actually super easy all you do is cut some fishing line and glue it to the location you want the blood to drip. I then mix a bit of clear tamiya red with some UHU glue and then just get it to pool at the edge and boom you have blood dripping.

Thanks for being honest. I will admit that the Red in real life look about 10 times better. I did highlighting with another shade of red and it looks subtle but the pictures tend to take a bit of that away. I can see what you are saying though and I may go through and re highlight them to maybe make them pop just a bit more.

I think it could of used a little bit more stippleing. But honestly it is a small nitpick on great models

That sgt with the splatted eye is proff as to why you should always wear a helmet

But seriously, these are pretty awesome. Very gruesome but not overdone (for 40k standards). Although, I feel like blood would not 'stick' that well to power weapons. Armor, definitely yes. Also, the fact that they are blood Angels makes the blood effects very cool, but the red armor kind of blends with the blood and lessens the effect. Some appear to just be all red etc. Still very cool though!

I love the Terminator with blood dripping off his Storm Shield, it's a really cool effect.

Great stuff! I would like to see more.

They look great, a real clean paint job. Obviously the realistic blood looks great. My only criticism is that they seem devoid of any highlights on the armor.....but that could have been intentional or just the camera work.

I dig the red you got going for them. The GW blood red is too bright IMO but this one is more like what a BA should look like.

But I can't talk, my BA army is yellow (lamenters). Still, I like the red.
