Ah - it is time for the return of the shoulder pads.

Only one model challenges Vlad for silly shoulder pads - and Hyperion is a Colossal.

Vlad would look cool, were it not for those ridiculously stupid shoulders.

It's got to be a joke within the entire PP studio. For every incarnation of Vlad, they have to make his shoulders bigger and bigger.

It looks like Conquest's aspect ratio got squished by, like, 20%

And, I think Vlad's shoulders stayed the same size? Or maybe it's just the rest of the model distracting from them.

Vlad... looking at the 360 view he needs a bit more dynamism in his arms. It seems every other Vlad model is a bit meh. pVlad's model is rubbish, eVlad is excellent, this one falls down in the posing dept. I like how they've given you alternative heads to use, but one thing that would help with the dynamics is to give Vlad an open mouth like in the artwork, as if he's leading the charge, hell if the whole model can actually be posed like the artwork, then I take it all back.

Trick to attacking vlad is to get out of his 30 degree ark of sight

I'm surprised how few guns Conquest has. Only the big one on top and the two smaller ones under his shoulders. Shouldn't he have like, you know, guns in his kneecaps or someting?

The conquest looks awesome. Vladimir looks stupid, entirely because of those shoulder pads.

I'm liking the Conquest model. I'd be interested to see it next to a Dreadnought and see how it compares. That model, I have to say, is the best PP model I've seen. I really don't care for any of them, and this would be a first.

Warmachine warcasters are looking more and more like WoW characters. I guess that's why they call them [Epic].

It would be substantially larger - that's a 120mm base it is stood on...

If he was metal... I would never have to go to the gym again. I would just have to start playing Warmachine.... On second thought I might just keep going to the gym

My mistake, stopped buying Warmachine just after the Engines hit so I haven't seen one in pieces in person.

Nothing beats the original Khadoran warjacks (Destroyer, juggy, etc.). They had a brutal "ugly in a beautiful way" asthetic similar to WWII Russian tanks.

This thing just looks silly and too "sci-fi".

I'm the opposite.

I didn't want one of their warjacks until this.

Conquest is why I've already started up a Khador army. I Love their Jacks!

Warmachine has definitely moved into a new age with it's design asthetic.

I'll just prefer to rememebr the good old days I guess...

There are things good old days that I'm not fond of (Old Gun Mages) and there
are things I'd rather have different (um, let me get back to you on this. Oh! Plastic
dire trolls!)

One could argue that they have the same aesthetic that CT GAMER loves, whereas
the conquest is something different.

By the way, it was confirmed on the PP boards that Vlad is a single model despite him being listed as two, and he comes with an alternate head, which is pictured.

The head on the Conquest reminds me of The Maxx.
