Hello All!


Here is a Space Wolves Logan Grimnar model work in progress, the beginning. It is the older metal model.

It has been cleaned and parts pinned for later assembly. It is spray primered all black.



Updated pics#1 - The base for the model is done. Nearly done with fur on the model and started work on the stormbolter arm. The model is based in Shadow Grey for the armor.

Right leg nearly done , moving up through center and working on minor details like hoses and talisman necklace.

I love the step by step photos, and I find it interesting how you approach the model in small sections like this.

I never thought of that approach myself! Definitely some food for thought there!

Really striking and clean painting style too. The extreme highlights are gorgeous. Especially on the grey's.

I work on sections at a time so I feel like I have accomplished something while working on the model. "This section is done now I move to another section" kind of thing.

Nearly done with both legs and arms, starting work on the axe and minor details around chest area. Still have right shoulder pad to do and add symbol to left leg.

I really like your work, the model is coming along nicely.

The fur is amazing, the color transition is amazing.

Left leg symbol and right shoulder mostly done. Working on the axe head and then on to the hair and face.

Axe is mostly done, hair is mostly done, going to start work on the face now. The hair is redish instead of grey because the customer requested that hair color.

Face is done. Now for assembly, touch ups and final clear coats. Hopefully, no screw ups.

Daaayuuum, this is some capital C classy miniature if I may do declare (and I may).

Very nice, this will be one of the best space wolf armies I've seen in quite awhile. It's practically an art form to get that right shade shadow grey/ space wolf grey.

But, this was a commission work for a single model. It goes into the mail tomorrow and will be with its new owner soon.

So, this will not be an ongoing blog for a Space Wolves army. Sorry.
