Hey all, Scott from Sydney here, recently me and my old 40k gaming group (started around 3 years ago?) have gotten back together after a long break from the game, due to rekindling of 40k interests and also that there is a local tournament here for 1750pts called the "Lords of Terra" and we are all trying to get our armies fully painted to enter and compete!

I have been reading / playing / loving everything Blood Angels for my entire 40k "career" I guess you can say haha? but my number one shame... I have never painted a full squad properly. This was mainly due to frustration on finding the perfect scheme (which I have found only a year ago) and my personal preference that gaming was just more funner than hobbying... but now, I will dedicate myself to a full revival of my Blood Angels and finally bring them to glory!

My army list will be tournament-oriented and I want it to be fully painted with dynamic poses because I think it's time to show that I'm not a cheesy gamer freak, that the people that love to game and theory hammer can also put out well painted armies!

Enough of that, now onto the actual hard work. This will be the first post in hopefully a very long thread and it is currently 1:09am here in beautiful Sydney lol, so I will begin with my HQ. My Librarian (who I've yet to name) will be my Strike Force Commander (The strike force which will also be nameless for now, don't worry good names come to me when I'm brain dead from painting!)

So here, the first pic of my WIP thread, the assembly stage of my new awesome librarian! PS I'm painting him right now, so hopefully I'll get him fully painted by tomorrow! Stay tuned!

I honestly don't know how people aren't embarrassed when fielding this kind of stuff, and it's not like its something pro-tem as the same pair of legs seem to make an appearance week after week, smiting in the name of the Emperor. You can imagine the legs in a display cabinet, gathering dust.

Update: Sneaky Scouts!

Heres my Day 2 update, my sniper scout squads that were so sneaky they managed to sneak themselves in and cut in line infront of the Librarian to be painted, lol.

In all seriousness, the Librarian was rushed to the infirmary for emergency re-gluing xD

Well, my progress will not be stopped by poor gluing! So I decided to paint up my 2 year old scouts (that were conveniently already primed, thank you past me.)

One was already hastily painted by me before I remembered that I have to actually take a photo of them BEFORE i paint them (past me, you really let me down on that one. You were like a brother to me!)

I WILL be doing properly / professionally photographed (to the best of my ability) squad shots as soon as they are all painted, and as soon as my new DC / Assault squad sprues come in from Ohio, I will be showcasing some dynamic positioning with scenery ON the bases. I'll give you all a teaser soon! YAY EBAY! (Did you know how expensive australian GW models are? its 62$ for a tactical squad... seriously.)
