I use Baal Red wash for my models, and now with the new washes out from citadel, I need to know which of the new washes/paints comes closest to getting the same color as Baal Red, if any.

Is that what GW did? Just rename the previous line of paint offered and add some new colors to the line up? Well thats a relief to know....since pretty much everyone is in the middle of an army project!

well they just didn't rename them. They also reformulated the colors, so the new colors most times do not closely match a conversion chart.

Carroburg Crimson is 100% NOTHING like Baal Red. CC actually works on red bases where BR did very little to shade it.

Carroburg Crimson is pretty good for shading red. It's like Gryphonne Sepia with a red tint

ohhhh i like. . . .Someone needs to test out all these new paints or compile a list of peoples tests.

that is spectacular shading for only using 2 colors. Feels like a punch in the face for the painters that have previously taken hours and several colors building up shading.

It shades amazingly well on Screamer Pink too.
