Ok this is still very rough he needs love th clean up the gaps and lines. What I would like is input on does it look good for a start. He still needs alot doen to his toros so but I'll show you pics of that. The legs are still in the debating stage to greenstuff or plastic card so no pics yet will add later. as for the torso he still need exhast and his motor built up in the back, as for the front I still need to add the jaw hinges and taper the bottom more.

That is a great torso, better than I have seen in years. The feet and legs is when many projects die... Functional needs to happen in the feet for it to look right.

That torso with a little more detail could be casted as it is good enough to justify it for a whole unit.

Agreed the legs scare me I know how easy it would be to flop on this part, and I don't want him to look like the boot should requir neck bolts.

Plus I'm really leaning to the casting of the toros and the legs and place the hydralics after and then use heads and arms from the nobs box. will probually cast the gun hand and attach the shootas fromt he nobs to help with the 50% rule some places have on scratch built.

But in closing thanks to all

Looking good so far - I can't wait to see the rest of the torso, as well as your ideas for arms and legs.

I'd reccomend sketching out a design on paper first, looking at what bits you have available and what would look functional as legs. A simple knee joint, with one degree of freedom operated via hydraulics behind the knee itself, would be exactly the kind of thing a Mekboy would use on a walking metal Ork-box with guns. Can't turn to save his life, but he can easily keep walking forward towards the enemy.

The legs look a little too streamlined for me - but that could be down to the clean white-and-orange colours you have at the moment. It might look Orkier with a decent paint job.
The twin-linked shoota looks nice and orky, however. The design there is solid and not over-ornamented.
I'm interested to see how it will all turn out once painted.
