Yes Dust models can be gotten pre-painted/assembled, but the take paint well, and you can of course paint them from scatch.

This thread is to showcase what paint/conversion work people have done or are doing on Dust models and to highlight any Dust specific terrain projects.

Post any completed or wip model/terrain projects.

To get things started here is an SSU walker I am painting:


I added an urban rubble base.

I used Vallejo "russian uniform green" over a rusty red primer. Then weathered/washed a bit.

Still needs some weathering/detailing, but the basic idea is coming together.

I use all of my WWWII stuff for Westwind's Secrets of the Third Reich, though I still have Dust Tactics knocking about somewhere.
This was an experimental squad of Veil-truppen (I was playing Wolfenstein at the time, unsurprisingly).



Bought an Old Crow Slammers command tank in a sale and it became the Luftpanzer. Had a fun all-armour battle with Allied mech's trying ambush this and it's mech escort as it underwent operational trials. It ended badly for all concerned.

Actually, I definitely have too much armour. There are two more Dust mech's I've not even started on yet.
