I painted this army a couple years back and I don't play as much before so I thought that I would sell it to a new owner who will give it some loving. It looks beautiful on the table and is a competitive and fun list to play.

I built/painted this army as a showcase army with the intent of winning painting awards and competitions...and it has! This 2000 pt army has won best painted awards at a GW sanctioned Grand Tournament (Slaughter in Space) and local tournaments. With 6th edition and a new Chaos Legions codex coming out in a few months, this is a perfect time to pick up a super unique army that will turn heads!

My approach to this army was to maintain the pre-heresy theme of the Deathguard so I opted to build the entire army (save the rhinos) from Forgeworld miniatures and kept the color scheme the classic white and green. I wanted the decayed look so I painted the white armor to look like putrid bruised flesh now...onto the minis!

** Plague marine backpacks converted into pre-heresy style backpacks and I sculpted intestines spilling out on some of the Plague marines and terminators.
** Rhino Rear hatches are magnetized and the top hatches are hinged

Obliterators are converted from FW nurgle terminators, legs extended, various weapons morphed (flamers, plasmaguns, plasma cannon, lascannon, meltas, multi-melta), necrotic growths on back armor to keep with the Deathguard theme.

Two custom cut Battlefoam trays that will hold all the minis listed above are also included.
