Just got my hands on the new shiney DUST WARFARE rule book from fantasy flights game . way cool really excited about playing it so im preparing my ww2 terrain and painted up my figs !! the americans i used the out of the box primer color and washed inked and weathered . getting the ready same with the german infantry . the german walkers primed them with the flames of war german yellow primer and began to air brush . ill put up pics of my next battle report next week . enjoy !!

Cool stuff. The whole ready to play or paint out of the box is very appealing.

Being a serious painter I was very sceptical about model quality, the primer they used etc. I have been Floored by the quality of the dust minis and the primer is awesome. Saves so much time. You can still convert them too by pulling heads, arms, etc off.

I have a converted British allied army and a standard axis army.

Most of my painting lately has been commissions for my local gaming group. Paint theirs to afford my own.

your absolutely correct . the figs are ready to paint . i went with the german camos instead of the strait grey . but for the americans i just washed and weathered ready for the table top !

i just played a short game . it plays really well . the game worries more about tactics then very elaborate combat rule . very stream line game easy to remember mechanics . gets you rite into the game . figs paint up great to . very inexpensive to! its a must for war gamers and the prices are great its about $ 32.00 usd for the giant heavy walkers ! 20 $ for the mediums they come pre primed and assembeled , and they come with all the weapon options . thats insane . the starter box of fix for dust tactics ( which you use for dust warfare ) come with a lot of figs for about $ 55.00 . its a great deal ..

That battle looks really cool. Having painted models and nice terrain is half the fun! (Hate those 40k games against black undercoated armies)

I have the first edition starter box for Dust Tactics but unfortunately no one else willing to play lol. I think I might just paint a force up anyway, those big walkers are sweet.
