Okay, so let me just say up front that this tournament is a no holds barred cheese-fest. There is no comp, special characters are allowed, etc. To that end I'd like DakkaDakka's input as to which list I should use to stomp in as much face as possible.

List A (Ogres):

Butcher, Lvl. 2, Fencer's Blades (170 pts.)
11 Ironguts, full command, Gleaming Pennant (508 pts.)
3 Mournfang Cavalry, standard bearer, heavy armor, great weapon (229 pts.)
Gorger (90 pts.)

List B (Daemons):

Skulltaker (150 pts.)
The Masque (90 pts.)
24 Bloodletters, full command, Icon of Endless War (343 pts.)
5 Furies (60 pts.)
5 Flesh Hounds (175 pts.)
5 Flamers (175 pts.)

The Ogre list is pretty straight forward- point the Mournfangs at the enemy, charge, delete units (in theory). The Slaughtermaster is there to a) be my general and b) buff my units. I've considered replacing him with a Firebelly with a great weapon, but then he'd lose the survivability that the butcher brings to the table... The Gorger only really exists to give me the obligatory third unit.

The Daemons are really combat-oriented, with the Bloodletters and Flesh Hounds bringing the real punch to the table. Where the army suffers is magical defense. Without the +2 to dispel magic provided by the Butcher this army could have real problems with magic-oriented armies. I'd be relying on my Magic Resistance to get me through the battle, but against offensive spells like The Pit of Shades and The Dwellers Below, or spells that just tweak stat lines (Mind Razor, etc.) I'd be at my opponent's mercy. As I said above, that will be a none too easy thing to come across. Of course I have The Masque to mess around with my enemy's stats, and Skulltaker to off enemy characters. Not to mention the amazing shooting that Flamers have. plus they have a much better paint job than the Ogres.

So as you can see I have a bit to ponder, and I've hit a road block. Please know that these models are fully assembled and painted, and I have neither the time or money to buy replacement minis. To that end, I'd just like feedback as to which army I should take and why. Thanks everybody!

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

While I hate this points level the daemons list is far better

I agree with Johnny-Crass, the Daemons list looks like it would be a lot better.
