Well, practicing on Helbrecht probably wasn't the best idea out there, but I had run out of models to practice on. Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk. Work in pogress so far, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Paints used: Base of snakebite leather, highlights with golden yellow, shaded areas with scorched brown.

You need more contrast for the NMM to be truly effective.

I would darken the recesses down to black and put some carefully placed pure white highlights.

At the moment he looks like he's wearing yellow shiny armour, not gold.

I am currently taking commissions.
