Lovely army, but I just always get a smirk at the irony of using Dark Angel's bits in a Space Wolf army. Or vice versa.

Painting is nice and sleek.

I'm fully aware of the flack I'll get for adding those guys but I love the robes and made up some fluff about Wolf Guard that abstain from the drink to sharpen their senses and those are the ones in robes. Dumb, I know, but at least the other wolves hate them too.

That's an impressively sized army.

Andby them I mean the ones abstaining, not the Dark Angels. Although that is just as true.

Love the wolf claw bike rider! That alone is wolfy enough to make up for the guys in robes.
Not to sure about the action effect on the Vindi missile, looks abit like someone played a practical joke on the vindi crew (this might however look ace in reality, just the photo messing it up)

And also, what is the tech priest up to? Wolfpriest for the sober robes?

Thanks for the comments everyone! It's been over a year of work all together. The vindi missle is supposed to look like its being shot. It looks much better from a foot away. I just layered up some gorilla glue and let it dry several times to make a clouded effect and then I added some black wash to make it a bit more cloudy. An experiment to be sure. The tech priest was actually the first model I ever owned years before I decided on the wolves and his weapon broke so I use him as a psudo-rune priest/ wolf lord depending on the need. I took the pink flamey effect from an old gambit action figure from when I was younger, painted it a bit and cut it down to fix the broken bit as a power weapon.

All those beautiful wolves and such a bad camera. Great army!

I think if I had a better camera you'd see how sloppy some of the older stuff is. That's what I love about the hobby. You always improve. I'll endeavor to borrow a better one for some closeups.

Yeah, I completely feel you there. My wolves look great at about 1 foot away. Get any closer and you start to notice the cockups.
