So I am new to the forums...I have read many posts but never made one myself. I am working on a necron army for the Nova GT this summer and wanted to get some feedback on a color scheme. I havent had much time to actually think about it but last night after working on some commission work I decided to take a break and test out one of the schemes from the book. What do you guys/gals think?

I am leaning towards lava themed basing(they will be removed from this base obviously) and display board but I am still exploring that as well.

suggestions are welcome

idk if hot lava and metal necrons go wel together... they would have waited an other millennium for the crust to cool and stabilize
personally i would go for a base that will make your colorscheme of your miniatures stand out. like if you have a metal and bright golds color scheme, dont go for greys and metal colors.

maybe a mars reddish base? or a desert like sand color?

i kind of like the mars idea although the orange may not go well with the redish basing. I was also thinking of doing the crystal style basing (orange crystals) and make them emerging from the wasteland...idk.

if you go for a brownish red it could work... and you can still add crystals...

heck! you can even grow your own crystals with one of those science boxes
