What's up Dakka Dakka!?

So I just started casually paintting and hobbing at the local Games Workshop about 6 or 7 months ago. And I finally painted something that I actually felt was okay enough to post here. I did most of the base The local GW store manager showed me a few really good tricks on it.

All feedback is welcome.

Looks great. I especially like the skin. Looks like real bull skin. I almost want to skin him and make some FABULOS chaps!!!

Apart from the spartan style helmet that needs to be painted a different colour from the rest of the rock, it's really good

Looks cool! And you're in MD, which makes it even better (not biased at all here ).

I don't see a spartan-style helmet (on the scenic base somewhere that I missed?). I agree that the skin is the best part, seems quite realistic. A shame a lot of the pics are half in shadow, though!

To LazzurusMan: Not sure where you are seeing a spartan style helmet on the base. Do you think I should add one to it? Or do you mean the Doombull's helmet?

To RiTides: I've never met someone biased in favor of people that live in MD... So Cool. As for the lighting on the pictures there is only an hour here where there is enough light hitting my balcony for photography. I'll try to get up early tomorrow and re-shoot those pictures.

some areas need a bit more highlighting, but the base is at least GW quality; it is very good.
