I know Anrakyr can't use MitM in the Barge, but I just have to have a CCB otherwise it wouldn't be fun. So plan is to zoom the CCB, sweep, disembark Anrakyr, MitM, then embark and repeat - depending on targets. Otherwise plan is to make it dark in T1, wait for opponent to show deployment, then DS stuff T2 and play in their backfield (assuming of course that the Death&despair squads come in).

Comments welcome - I don't have any wraith models, so please no suggestions re wraiths (sorry Skoffs, I promise I'm getting some!! )

On a serious note, I would ditch those Scarabs for another Annihilation Barge. A single Barge is going to get taken out pretty sharpish.

I was considering that, but then I started looking at AT and was thinking that I didn't have enough. The only units that can reliably crack AV14 here are the warscythes, and only 1 of them is mobile. I wasn't sure that was enough at 2000pts?

So, maybe do it the other way round - ditch the Barge but get more scarabs (or a couple of spyders? course I don't have any, so I'd have to buy some )

You're right about av14, it's tough for Necrons and they only have three real answers; warscythe, Scarabs and Triarch Stalker. Though, Necrons do have gauss and some lucky shots could glance it and stop it from moving, of course that's luck though.

Scarabs are cool, though they tend to run off from the Spyders thanks to them being beasts. Also fun watching a Land Raider being depleted to av3 or something, lol.

I reckon its the flyby and big boom in the movement phase that's the most fun!!

Closely followed by the wraiths cleaning up the tasty snack inside.

Re the Spyders, I saw a post (can't remember which one) where they put obyron with the Spyders and teleported them. Must check whether that is legal!
