Heya

Lately I felt like painting some more of my Imperial Guard, so I decided to put some paint on my Valk. I must say that I love and always have loved the Imperial Guards Valkyrie and was overjoyed when they came out from GW... ok it has been a while since then... to get to the point, I friggin love these things, BUT I just can't find a good paint scheme for mine.
Does anyone have some tipps on painting the Valkyrie or vehicles in general?
Edit: Only the one wing of the valk is painted in the pattern yet and not even finished but I wasn't sure of the pattern yet so... any criticism or ideas for the paint scheme?

In case it might help, here is a picture of the current scheme I tried right now (which is most heavily WIP) and a group of guardsmen just see how it is supposed to fit in.
