Hey i have recently started up again and have started work on my army im wanting to make an assault heavy SM chapter but i am unsure as to which color scheme / chapter to use. I originally started work on my own blood angels successor chapter the blood Templar (see attached photo for the idea) but after painting a few i don't think it works. so im kinda throwing it out there.

I am open to suggestions im basicly thinking of going either BA or SW however i don't like the chapter color schemes there too bright IMO. annoyingly i like BT colors hence why i tried to emulate them a bit with my scheme but a close friend collects them so thats out of the question.

I don't see why that colour scheme doesn't work, it looks just fine to me. If you don't like it, though, change it. If you want a suggestion, my opinion is that you can't really go wrong with a really dark blue as your primary colour.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

I like this color. When I paint Space Marines, I always make sure that my colors are on the opposite end of the color wheel (red body, green shoulders), and your colors are pretty nice.

You can make your own scheme if you want, it looks fine, but if you want a pre-existing one:

Why not use Yellow instead of that off white color, would give them a different look.
